For the third year in a row, uber-stylist Rachel Zoe and actress/model Molly Sims co-hosted LA’s Super Saturday shopping event to benefit the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund (OCRF). Held on June 11th at the historic Barker Hangar at the Santa Monica airport, the event drew in some major star-power in the likes of celebs Melissa Rivers, Lisa Rinna (Real Housewives of Beverly Hills), Jaime King (Hart of Dixie), Jodie Sweetin (Fuller House, Dancing with the Stars), Ian Ziering (Sharknado, 90210) Tammin Sursok (Pretty Little Liars), recently crowned Miss USA Deshauna Barber and many more.
A fun, family-friendly day, the event was open to the public and brings out roughly 2500 fashion-lovers to shop for a cause! And shop they did – through racks of such high-end brands as La Roche Posay, Chinese Laundry, Hale Bob, Soul Cycle and Cienta Kids Shoes. QVC sponsored the event, with Lisa Rinna and Melissa Rivers broadcasting segments.
Molly Sims was spotted shopping the sale as co-host Rachel Zoe played around in the arcade with son Skyler. Jaime King test drove the new Chrysler Pacifica as pal Tammin Sursok joined in on the fun. The event was open to the public, with ticket prices ranging from $75-$200. Along with the VIP shopping, Super Saturday LA invited guests to a playful day of fun – offering up delicious eats from BHG Catering, Pink’s Hot Dogs, Del Frisco’s Grille, Au Fudge and Sprinkles. A Kids Fun Zone included an arcade, mini-golf, a Bag Toss from Pop Chips and a play area from Giggles N Hugs. For the adults, signature cocktails were provided by Blue Ice Vodka and FIJI Water also had a station to quench thirsts.
B Floral kept the ladies looking snapchat picture-perfect ready with flower crowns while a Conair hosted a braid bar and Wen offered samples to try their hair care products.
This is Super Saturday LA’s third year. Super Saturday is also held each year in the Hamptons and Las Vegas.
